how do u remove the fuel sensor

i have a 91 civic hatch and can not figure out why the fuel gauge wont work i checked the power to the sensor and it is getting power but the gauge doesnt move i think the sensor itself is bad and was wondering if anyone has a walk through on how to change it thanks in advance for all the help

you take it out of the tank

check the ground under the back seat, sometimes the wire gets brittle and comes off

Try to get the service manual, there's the procedure on how to test the fuel sending unit, the gauge and pics on where it is.

it also could be at the cluster.
